~Alleviate food insecurity in the Twin Counties area through the distribution of healthy and nutritious food while instilling hope.
~Treat all staff, partner agencies, volunteers and residents with dignity and respect.
~Provide hands on opportunities for neighbors to help neighbors.
~Educate the public about the issues of hunger in our area.
~Ensure that our food relief efforts have a meaningful and enduring impact
In 2012, A Touch of the Father's Love Food Pantry and Ministry, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization was founded by April Baker in the small town of Battleboro, North Carolina. Through the generous support of a local family in providing a building and a home for the pantry over the past seven years, the pantry has grown and flourished.
The pantry serves individuals in need, single parent families with children, senior citizens, active military, veterans, and pets who need assistance with food. We offer a wide range of produce, meats, dairy, bread, desserts and pet food. The focus of our mission is to show the love of God by meeting the physical and emotional needs of each food recipient by providing help and hope.
April Baker, Founder and Executive Director , operates this amazing Food Pantry Ministry with the help of dedicated volunteers and board members. The entire organization is operated by volunteers that want to make a difference!
It is so rewarding to be able to help those in need. It is such a good feeling to know you are part of improving the quality of life for so many people in our community. Please come and join us and help to put an end to hunger.
